The training program was very well planned to incorporate different areas of teaching and personal growth. The training was kicked off with an orientation session that included the purpose and time table of the training, new trends in education and update on the CBSE curriculum. After that, a sequence of workshops and seminars were organized. These were teaching business workshops that were aimed at teaching new teaching techniques and learning how to manage a class. Subject specific seminars were planned to enhance the subject content knowledge of the teachers in accordance with the new CBSE syllabi. Also, sessions on the integration of technology were offered to equip the teachers with knowledge on the use of modern technologies in education and the use of technology tools in teaching and learning. Another feature was the focus on students as the main actors of the learning process, and the corresponding methods were worked out for individualization of the learning-teaching process. Last, the assessment and evaluation workshops introduced teachers to new methods and the CBSE evaluation system, so they knew how to monitor and facilitate students’ Learning.
